私はむかし、縁があって『ミュージックマガジン』で、音楽批評を書きましたが、

何回か、ミュージッシャンに呼び出されて殴られました。

私からみると、それは音楽批評の不成立ということに過ぎません。

ニューヨークの美術評論家が、やはり殴られたという話を読んだことが

ありますが、この場合も、殴りたければ殴れば良いし、殺したければ殺せば良い

のですが、批評というものは、殺されても書くものなのです。

殺されても書くというのが、ソクラテスから、エックハルト、

内村鑑三、レニーブルース を経由して流れて来ている批評の思考の流れなのです。

私は、高校生の時代から、繰り返し弾圧されながら書き続けて来ているのであって、

いまさら止める気はないのです。

私の文章を不快に思う人たちがいる事は良く知っていますが、

その人たちから、私は お金を取っていないのですし、

読む事を強制はしていないのです。
